He views it was a simpler time, and with more honorable people. Jeremiah is known for his Southern Charm, and professes to be a Southern Gentleman. One should not forget however, he does have Southern Pride as well, meaning he can become quite hostile if he believes he has been wronged.
|Strengths & Weaknesses||Jeremiah is a trained Martial Artist, studying in Teakwondo, Pastryu, Boxing, Wrestling, and Fencing. He is an expert marksman and prefers the use of a Converted 1860 Colt Revolver over the common phasers, as well as carrying a rather large bowie knife. His weaknesses are often his strengths, yet his strengths are often his weaknesses. He will often choose to fight, and quite enjoys when the odds are against him. This trait will sometimes get him in trouble, but he will always face it with a smile.|

|Personal History||Jeremiah Jenkins was born on October 26th, 2357 in Ponotoc, Mississippi. His father, Fitzgerald Jenkins moved the family to Dorvan V in 2362 in search of better jobs. He served briefly as Sheriff of a small town before enlisting in Starfleet, leaving Jeremiah alone with his mother. "Fitz" Jenkins was killed at the Battle of Wolf 359, causing Jeremiah to become more "rebellious".
On his 16th birthday, 2373 he joined up with a band of Maquis commanded by Tawodi Watie. He was with Tawodi when the band raided a Mothball Fleet of the Federation, capturing several vessels including the U.S.S. Tennessee (renamed C.S.S. Tennessee) and the U.S.S. Aden. Jeremiah piloted the Aden, and held off a Dominion fleet, which allowed the Tennessee to escape. Jeremiah was wounded in the battle, and forced to pass off command to Charles Lundon who soon surrendered the vessel. Jeremiah was captured, and sent to a POW camp inside Cardassian space. In 2375 he was finally freed when Tawodi Watie returned with a retrofitted C.S.S. Tennessee and a small Maquis fleet. The Battle resulted in three Cardassian Warships being destroyed, and limited damage to the Tennessee. Jeremiah was offered First Mate of the Tennessee, but refused it. He instead chose to return home, viewing the War as lost.
When he returned home, he took up blacksmithing but found it to lack the excitement he craved. In 2377 he was paroled by the Federation President for his participation with the Maquis, and soon applied for the Federation Marshal Service. He was finally accepted in 2380.
Since joining the Federation Marshal Service, Jeremiah has conducted countless operations involving Transportation and Captures of Fugitives. A times he has been forced to draw his weapons, which include a Converted 1860 Colt Revolver, and a rather large Bowie Knife. He has become known as a hard fighter, and not afraid to fight hand to hand with anyone, including those stronger than him.
